Empowerment (noun): the process of becoming stronger and more confident, especially in controlling one's life and claiming one's rights.
The definition of empowerment above feels like a call to action.
Imagine yourself taking every lesson you’ve learned in life so far – the good, the bad, and even the ugly – and using it to propel yourself forward into a new, more powerful, more confident phase. That is possible for women over 40. That is what we want to do together.
There are approximately 42 million women aged 40-60 in the United States. Imagine if this group of diverse and dynamic women rallied together to bring about changes that help to advance women’s health at menopause – it would be incredibly powerful!
As we build the National Menopause Foundation community, we’ll bring you information about topics and issues relevant to women at menopause. We’ll tell you how you can be involved or spread the word or learn more.
